Classes for children and adults are a vital part of our job in serving the Baker City community. We have a wide variety of classes for all ages available in numerous disciplines including drawing and painting, pottery, dance, glass and even Tai Chi or Fencing. We are always looking for new teachers to bring new skills to our community.
We need the community to join us. Life-long learning is something we all should be engaged in. Nothing is more discouraging than to get excited for a new class and have it cancel due to lack of participation. We need your help to spread the word about our great opportunities.
Pottery Studio Usage:
The LaVonne Kasper Memorial Pottery Studio is available to be used by members of Crossroads with a Pottery Pass. Our state of the art pottery studio provides an amazing space to create work. We ask that all new potters come and receive training to our pottery studio’s rules before they begin. Pottery Passes can be purchased at the front desk for $5.00 a day, $20.00 a month or $30.00 a quarter. This allows potters to use the studio anytime the building is open and another class is not occurring. Potters must pay
for their own clay and firing charges. The Pottery committee, a dedicated group of volunteers, meets quarterly to see to the success of the pottery program, schedule firings, discusses classes and opportunities in the pottery studio. If you are interested please contact Crossroads at 541-523-5369.
