Opens Friday, August 1st at 6pm
Four unique women and their art will be featured at the First Friday gathering and Art Walk. Nancy Allen from La Grande, Sharol Chandler from Halfway, Suzanne Findley from Seneca, and Sharon Schultz from Prairie City will all be on hand to visit with guests and showcase their art.

Award-winning artist Paul Hoelscher is working as an Artist in Residence in Baker City, with a degree in Art. He was recently featured on Oregon Art Beat. The exhibit of his recent paintings is titled "Seeing Things." Read the article in the Baker City Herald.

The opening will be Friday June 6th from 6 PM till 8 PM.
Kathelene's latest body of artwork, The Belted Galloway’s Suite, combines her computer skills with traditional printmaking techniques while allowing her the freedom to recombine materials in her printmaking.

Also joining Crossroads Carnegie First Friday this month is the "Read Aloud" program sponsored by Libraries of Eastern Oregon and Baker County Libraries. This program allows new writers to read from their work. Read Aloud will be hosted by Pamela Steele from Hermiston and will begin in the Downstairs Classroom at 7:00 pm.

This show is a wonderful way to view the emerging art of Baker High School students. This exhibit showcases artwork done in the classroom throughout the year. Come and be inspired by a new prospective or technique used by these students in their work.
